Topaz AI V2 cannot enlarge an image by use of the plugin

Because it doesn’t work directly via the filter menu you have to do this via File/Automate but this hint doesn’t help at all. When I go via File/Automate only a TPAI layer will be created and absolutely nothing else happens, the necessary options for enlarging are not offered and therefore you cannot enlarge an image. With Gigapixel AI this works fine.

I’m running OS-X Ventura 13.5.1 on iMac i9, 64 GB RAM, Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB and Photoshop 2023 V24.7.0

Topaz Photo AI [v2.0.0] on [Mac]

Me and a friend of mine are having the exact same issue. We are both running a Mac Studio (2022) with Ventura and 13.5.1.

I have same problem

yes the automate> Gigapixel plug-in is not working on a Mac M1 Powerbook running Ventura 13.5.2, either. All it seems to do is add a new layer.

Hello everyone. We confirmed that there are two potential bugs happening with the Photoshop File > Automate > Topaz Photo AI plugin.

  1. The Topaz Photo AI plugin does not launch because the plugin installation was incomplete.
  2. The Gigapixel AI File > Automate plugin does not work when both GP and Topaz Photo AI are installed.

If you are experiencing #1 and do not have Gigapixel AI installed, try running the Topaz Photo AI installer again or update to v2.0.1 tomorrow and let me know if it’s working after doing this.

If you are experiencing #2 we have a fix for that in v2.0.1. Please update tomorrow and let me know if it’s working after this.

After updating to version 2.0.1, the enlargement via Photo AI works without any problems, even if Gigapixel is installed at the same time.
