Steps to reproduce issue:
Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac]
Turns out, it crashes when I open Nikon D1X NEF files.
It crashed during face recognition, but it was fixed with a video driver update. Geforce RTX- 3060.
Hard to think a video driver update will fix anything here. For me on a 4090 and latest drivers and app crashing all over the place. Let’s face it, NVidia isn’t creating driver updates to support the latests Topaz Photo AI app. Uninstalled it.
Are you using the 536.99 studio driver? Not the game ready driver.
Is Topaz software designed to only function with / be optimized for one or the other?
The latest update causes the same immediate crashes for me as well, and I am on the latest GRD for an EVGA 3080.
I am having a similar issue with .tiffs but some success when saved using IBM over MAC 8bit.

Update: Seems to crashes only with “Recover Faces AI” ON. But without it doesnt looks as good 
Same problem here: sudden program closing, no warning or error message. Happens when it’s processing facial recovery while on preview, normally in photos with several faces. Sometimes I CAN reopen the same photo and process it, so it’s not a case of “this photo always closes the program”.
Windows 10, GeForce 3060, latest drivers, everything else (including the previous version of Topaz) works.

Same Problem, the 2.0.0 Version crashes too often suddenly, Windows 11, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, drivers all updated. This is new, until now, Topaz worked perfekt.
Same here. Version 2 crashes with no error message and no log in the event viewer. Windows 11 Pro, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. Studio drivers installed.
Hello everyone, we released a fix for this issue today in v2.0.1. It will prevent the crash so you can use face recovery as expected.
