I wanted to downgrade back to 3.3.0 but something changed in the setup. It is no longer possible to just run the installation of an older version to just go back.
Instead of that i am getting a repair or remove option but i want to keep my presets…did´nt find the presets in the installation folder…i am with 3.3.1 no longer able to choose any preset so i can export them. I am thinking that i loose all my settings and presets if i remove Topaz Video AI before reinstalling back to 3.3.0.
Now i have to wait for 3.3.2 in order to be able to work with Topaz Vodeo AI…very disappointed.
It would be nice to reimplement the removed feature to be able to downgrade to a previous version again…instead of repair or remove…
Can you please share a screen recoridng of what is happening with v3.3.1? I am currently not quite clear on what is occurring.
Oftentimes it is easiest to share a screen recording for issues like this to quickly show me exactly what is happening. I use Loom for screen recordings since this is a free and easy to use app.
Also @lhkjacky provided the correct path to copy our presets if you do end up needing to perform a clean install.
The problem was solved with two replies and another hint to go to the settings and to set the startup preset to none.
Automatically loaded presets while starting Topaz is causing that Videos can’t be loaded or preset could be changed. So I set the loading of presets at the beginning to none. And i am able to use Topaz again. If i choose a preset after loading a video the preset is loading fine…so the problem must be somewhere while loading another preset than none while starting Topaz 3.3.1
