I am wondering if im missing something but why there is no option for edit in timeline? like in and out not just once but like edit and cut out stuff i dont want to. its a basic option , there is a timeline already so why going out to other editing software cut and import in again? or there is an option and im missing it?
also why can’t i hear sound when playback the video?

It’s a basic video editing function. Video AI is not a video editor.
I know its not a video editor but basic is cutting out unwanted stuff, if i want only several parts of the whole video i need to enhance each one separately and then combine. its such a great software but the small things… also , why not playing sound with the video?
Yes, the process you describe is video editing. Not what Video AI is designed to do. For what you want to do, you can install Video AI as a plugin to DaVinci Resolve, a video editor you can download a free version of. Or Adobe After Effects, which you’d have to pay for.
Are you talking about not hearing sound with your previews, or your exported videos not having any sound?
I know there is a davinci plugin i use davinci i just sometime want to do quick upscale and not go back and forth from davinci to video ai.
Im talking about playing the video i loaded and choose in and out . also after viewing preview either in topaz or outside is without sound, not talking about the exported video this one is with sound
The app has never played sound with previews. Probably because it would impose additional processor and memory load, but haven’t ever seen any official explanation for it. Any editing functions added with most likely do the same, and that’s assuming they didn’t add to the many UI bugs that already exist.
I just don’t understand how a professional paid software can’t play sound with video. and as i said before sometimes i just wanna do quick upscale for certain parts, it would have been nice to be able to stay in video ai.
