I am thinking upgrading my RTX 2090 super to a 4080. But is it worth it?
Can’t find any topics that show the difference in speed/export performance between them.
Any recommendations ? 
Like an RTX 2080 ti or a Titan RTX? (There is no RTX 2090 that I have hear of. [I see it now. Probably mean RTX 2080 Super.])
I only found one benchmark with an RTX 2080 and compared to an RTX 4080, you should get over double the speed.

Depending on what resolution you intend to go to and from, you’ll see more speed improvement. Some people going to 4K from DVD, have made claims that they saw no speed increase after getting a 4090.
Maybe I’m just propagating a rumor with that statement but, look at the X4 results of the 4090 below the 4080 I linked. It’s much slower than the linked 4080.
I switched from a 2070 Super to the 4090 and that was really worth it.
What is your frame/sec?
At the moment I’m getting around 1,5-1,8 when upscale from 1080p to 4K using Proteus.

What have you got?
6.8 - 7.0 fps when upscaling from 1080p to 4K using Proteus relative to auto.
I have a 4070 ti and a 3080 ti. If you can get a 4080, I think it will serve you well. I am curious what CPU you have.
I have a 2070 super at the moment. Have fast is the 4080? I am getting 1,5-1,8 frame/sec when upscaling from 1080p to 4K.
