affinity reports plugin has crashed
3. Step 3

Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac]

Thanks for reaching out. I had another user report this same issue. Please try following the instructions they shared to fix it.

I do not think my problem is the same as that file already exists in the plugin folders for both Affinity 1 and 2.

I have attached the recent crash report I located. And filter plugin log file

My problem only started after I installed two topaz updates, probably 1.54 &1.53

Terry Bailey.

I think the attached crash report was rejected, so I will try again after deleting that

In short, please delete the current Topaz Photo AI plugin that is in Affinity, then add it back again with the latest plugin file.

It seems that the update did not add the new plugin file so it’s using the old plugin file which is crashing.

Thanks,

I deleted the plugin file from affinity and then installed the latest update for photo AI which reinstalled the plugin to affinity, and it now works.

Best Wishes,

Terry Bailey.
