Hi guys, just wanted to let the developers know… The estimated file sizes are many many time larger than they actually end up in Gigapixel. This is really problematic as I’m trying to keep files under a specific size but I have absolutely no idea how big they will end up… A 67mb estimate ended up as 2.3mb, and so on. Can this be fixed, I’m sure it’s messing with a lot of customers. Thanks!!

Thanks for bringing this up! We’re aware of the issue with the estimated file sizes being significantly larger than the actual output, and the team is actively working on a fix. In the meantime, you’re not alone—others have also reported similar discrepancies. Hopefully, we’ll have an update soon to address this.

I wondered if you have made any progress on this issue. i am experiencing the same thing. Also I don’t think the file sizes for the upscaled images are near a large as they should be. I am finding hardly any increase in file size with a 2x upscale
