Terrible results with B&W images

Every time i try to use Photo AI on B&W images i have terrible results.
The screen shot is an image that was processed in Nik Silver Effect. I used Denoise and Sharpen and it created a terrible Chromatic Aberration. I have tried a few other B&W process and get the same results. I have stopped using Photo AI because of how bad it is on B&W images.

Are you converting a color image or shooting with a Leica Monochrom? If the former, make sure to export your file as grayscale (e.g., 16-bit grayscale tiff), not a color-balanced rgb file, and open that in TPAI. I just denoise/sharpened a true grayscale tiff and TPAI (3.2.2) saved a grayscale tiff (it let me balance color as an adjustment but didn’t save the color shift, so I’m pretty sure the TPAI output is also grayscale (using preserve input format).

This is a bit crunchier that I like (and grayscale accentuates this, so you’ll have to tune the TPAI defaults) but no added color, even at the high contast point near the black spot on the old/new line:
