It would be extremely helpful to add native support for side-by-side (SBS) 3D videos when performing frame interpolation and resolution upscaling.
Suggested Feature:
A simple checkbox labeled “Side-by-Side 3D.”
When enabled, the software should process the left and right halves of each frame as two separate videos, then recombine the results into the original SBS layout.
Why This Is Important:
Without SBS handling, the software can distort the stereoscopic effect by interpreting the full frame as a single view. Native support would preserve the 3D depth and produce cleaner, more accurate results.
Without this feature, SBS videos must first be manually split into separate left and right streams before processing - a time-consuming step that can introduce quality loss.
