Quite a spectacular show of a full lunar eclipse and a super blood moon last night in Asia … Canon 5DsR + EF70-300mm f4-5.6L IS USM, unfortunately on the road driving so didn’t get many shots …
For those that are interested the image was shot @ ISO200, f/5.6 and 1/200th second. A normal full moon needs to be shot at ISO200, f/11 and 1/250th sec … adjustments were for the lack of reflected light because of the partial eclipse. Exact exposure does ultimatly depend on the atmospheric conditions and light pollution … although the shots were taken from the side of a road there was no light souces between the camera and the moon but there was a little smoke haze.
