It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to turn off the automatic subject detection. When I am working landscapes or I have noise throughout a set of shots I want to clean up, not just on the subject it’s annoying to have go in, tell it none, come back out and proceed on every single shot.
Look under the Autopilot preferences, there is an option to turn off or limit the selection. Remember it is primarily used for Sharpening.
