Hi Kathy, thank you so very much. A little encouragement goes a long way. I spent a couple days with this as I learn to apply the watercolors in layers while thinking about transparency. Great fun.

This is very artistic. I like it a lot!
On a humorous note, it reminded me of the illustrations in a book I borrowed from the library sometime in the past few months… someone tried to be funny doing a takeoff on a Peterson’s or Audubon bird guide type of book:
