Store user presets in user folder on Macs - NOT app folder

Would Topaz store general user settings and preferences inside the app folder? Of course not. I hope we all agree that would be stupid. Then why, for goodness sake, are user presets stored in there on Macs? So easily all lost when the user is forced to revert to a previous version due to new serious bugs - IF they use the DMG download rather than PKG.

Yup, the current method of storing models and preferences within the App Bundle in /Applications appears to be contrary to industry best practice. It is not just the presets - the models get redownloaded between installs, which is a waste of bandwidth on both the end-user and Topaz servers.
