Hello, Topaz Labs! I’ve been upscaling some videos with VEAI, and to say the least, the results are amazing. I use Proteus v2 to achieve my desired results. Most of my videos have had noise, so I’ve been setting Reduce Noise to 100, and it looks fantastic. But recently my videos have had no noise, so I’ve been setting Reduce Noise to 0. When I do this, however, VEAI actually CREATES a kind of “static” noise, as someone on the forum said. This is most definitely a bug that needs to be fixed. Thank you!

I’m no expert but could it be the Grain setting?
I set the mostly to 0.97 size as I find 1.00 is noticeably big.

Well I always leave this off. There has to be another reason. Fix it, Topaz Labs!
Maybe its because of sharpening, you could reduce the settings

I’ve tried this as well, and it doesn’t work for me. Topaz Labs really has to fix this.
