Starlight tryout for low quality due to low light-conditions

Hello,

I am a new user of Starlight and would like to seek advice from experienced users. I have attempted to enhance a short video with defects due to poor lighting conditions.

However, the result does not meet my expectations. The individuals in the video appear unrecognizable, particularly due to the teeth.

I would appreciate any guidance from experienced users on whether a local model could improve the video with adjustments or settings. If anyone has specific recommendations, please do not hesitate to share them. My goals are purely amateur.

Thanks in advance,

Regrettably, I am unable to provide links to tryout video as they are not permitted, please use QR-link )

Starlight is like RheaXL a heavy reconstruction model. It can recognize grain/noise as part of content, humans and in some cases it invents new things. In particular it has a preference for generate creepy teeth. You can reduce the effect by giving Starlight a more contrasty, lower visible noise footage. Import source material into video editor and play with contrast/gamma/brightness/color saturation and give Starlight this.

Additionally, you can try automode 1x (none upscale) with Proteus V3, or Iris Medium or Artemis
