Starlight mini Error

I have an error status each time i try to export with starlight mini. I try the beta, changing the card used in the preferences (i have two 4090). Tried with 480p,720p files but nothing works.

Try lowering the max memory % that the app can use as it looks like the GPU was overwhelmed from the processing attempt.

Open the Preferences Panel and change the following settings.

File>Preferences>Processing

  1. Ensure that your GPU is selected for the AI Processor
  2. Set the max memory to 80%
  3. Set max processes to 1
  4. Save the settings and close the panel.
  5. Re-run your clip through the process that you were trying.

If you run into an issue again, send me the updated logs for further review to help@topazlabs.com.

I still have the same error.

overhelmed I don’t think so with 2 x RTX4090 doing just SD to 720p

In the logs are many of this errors, but I don’t know what it means:
“qrc:/videomanager/ExportItem.qml:87: TypeError: Value is null and could not be converted to an object”

So has topaz fixed this problem? im also having immense trouble with starlight mini, i can render for 12 hrs approx then “error” every time, doesn’t matter the codec or video or container its exported in

hmm hard to say, you can post the logs maybe we see something. When you post please delete all logs files before the fail-try otherwise there is so much stuff in the logs all you have done in the past. You can find the logfiles under %programdata% Topazlabs folder.

Where do you export renderings, is it a local Volume or USB-Drive or a Network Share? If container codec is a problem try out FFV1 or PNG, sure it gets big.
