Starlight Mini 1280x 854P?

I’m trying to get 1280x960p for my old 480p videos and its giving me only 1280x854p , or 2x 1440x960p which would stretch . I have Topaz 7.1 . What do I do ?

what is the exactly original resolution, what model do you use?

I deinterlaced a old short clip from a dvd 720x480i using DioneTV , Then I wanted to run it in Starlight mini , It is only giving me the option of 1280x854P or 2x 1440x960P . To get a proper 4.3 image on my Oled TV to watch later it needs to be 1280x960P , I read this is a new problem with Topaz . This was not a issue before and I had no problems getting 1280x960 . Any idea ?

Yes, that’s what I thought it’s NTSC 720x480 (this is 1.5 aspect ratio) and this must be strechted or squeezed when play in the width to 4:3 or 16:9…pending on how video container aspect ratio is flagged to, the content is made for. But there is no aspect ratio set, or the wrong one and Topaz does the 1.5 aspect as the pixels are.

You can remux source with MKVToolnix, select video stream into the program and enter aspect ratio you want (here type in 4:3)

Then Topaz checks real pixel amount does not match set 4:3 and then Topaz gives you the “square pixels” option, select it and result is 1280x960

Or better solution I recommend: Do the 720x480 to 1440x960 native upscale and squeeze afterwards 1440x960 to 1280x960.
