Stabilization: unable to write the CPE file - fixed for me - missing TEMP directory

Hi guys

I recently upgraded my hardware to a HP Z6 /w XEON Gold 6248 CPU, 96 GB RAM
I tried to stabilize some of my 4k footage from Sony APS-C cam, 4k video h264, which I did hand-held.
As it was ultra wide angle lens, I tried ‘auto crop’ mode, as this is noticable faster than ‘full frame’ mode.

After first stabilization step I got the ‘Unable to write the CPE file.’ message.
here is the log entry:

I found, that under C:/Users/mh/Documents/Topaz VideoAI Projects/Default/
there was no temp directory.
I created temp directory manually

and that’s all. After first stab step, Topaz Video will store there a small .JSON file.
Topaz was not able to store, because /temp was missing.

now it’s working for me.
bye Michael

This has been an issue before in the app and creating that temp folders seem to have resolved in some cases.

The team is working on addressing this inside the apps backend as well.
