When we get satisfying results with a specific setting and a specific version, are we sure that this setting will continue to give the same results in the future versions of the product? Or do we need to keep installed the specific version for future use?
Well you can always download older versions just in case.
So no need to keep specific versions as a precaution.
The version of the model used should always yield the same results with the same settings. There have been a few versions in the past that messed up how the input settings were mapped to the actual enhancing. Excluding those, the version of TVAI should not matter.
There are some features that are kind of extra to the enhancing like the new Recover Original Detail slider. Obviously, if you got perfect results on a version before that was added, you would need to set it to 0 to get those same results in newer versions. I’ve never used them, but the Grain and Add Noise have changed a lot in past versions.
I suppose color handling should be mentioned. Though, if anything, it should be more accurate with newer versions.
Thanks for the information. It increases my confidence in using this software.
