Sony a6700 support and issue?

Adobe just released support for the new Sony a6700 raw. It appears that Topaz AI can read the .arw file, but the .dng file output can not be read by Lightroom Classic (24.4) or Photoshop (24.4 with ACR 15.5).

If I save the Topaz AI output as .tiff, it appears all is well with the Adobe suite.

Thanks for reaching out. We are adding support for the Sony A6700 soon now that Adobe has support for it.

Please check again in 1-2 weeks and this should be fixed.

Thanks Lingyu! I have to say that Topaz support is so much better than Adobe that is is worth commenting. Last week I had a horrible experience with them as they rolled out the a6700 updates in stages and didn’t get them all together and properly documented until late in the week. Their support person tried to deny that it was happening, even when faced with reality…

Anyway, I’ll wait patently knowing the Topaz team is working towards that support.

We just added support. Please check the release going out this Thursday v1.5.3 and let me know if it’s working for you.
