Software crashing during editing, and having to start over

PLEASE FIX THIS. It is absolutely devastating for a crash to cause me to lose HOURS of work. Having to do everything in your software twice is enough to make it not worth using. The issue is NOT my system that caused the crash. You don’t need my system data. The issue is the fact that nothing is being saved until you get to the END of the batch and a render is successful. It makes NO SENSE for a software like this to not have more saving precautions AS YOU GO in place. Right now the only way to be sure i don’t lose progress is to render each photo as I do them one at a time. If I want to stop and come back to what I’m working on later, I have to leave the program and computer running. That is completely unacceptable for a PAID program.

I’d like to get some more information to help troubleshoot the problem you are having.

I understand you stated that we may not need the following information but I can assure you that it gives us the best understanding as how to troubleshoot the problem you are reporting.

Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.

If you would prefer you can securely submit your files(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Make sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.

I’m not trying to tell you how to do your job, I don’t honestly know what is relevant/needed, and what’s not. What I DO know is there is no way to save my progress as I am working, and THAT is the issue. It wouldn’t matter if it crashed 10 times, if I didn’t have to START OVER every time it did. I know the idea is for it to never crash in the first place, but we are getting a TERRIBLE experience while all that is sorted out.

Thanks for sending in that information.

I want to see if updating your GPU driver will resolve the problem, as there is a more up-to-date driver that has been released.

Please use the following link to update your driver: AMD Radeon | RX 6900XT | Driver Update

After the update, let me know if you are still experiencing the problem.
