Howdy! I recorded a school comedy show and the camera was set to auto-focus, which I thought was a good idea until I watched the recording! The focus would drift soft occasionally, so I bought topaz video hoping it can somehow “learn” from the good frames and fix the soft ones… is that how it works? I tired a couple models but I really don’t know what I am doing, so if anyone has recommendations on model and settings, that would be awesome. It’s on a locked camera, wide shot of the whole stage, and the background behind the performers is a constant brick wall so that ideally is my true focus point. Even two actors on the stage barely moving can sometimes drift out of focus and back in… I’ll try any ideas, the kids and their parents are hoping I can fix it!! Thanks!!!
I’d recommend trying the Starlight models or some of the core enhancement models with the focus fix feature - either on Normal or Strong
