I have a 25 fps source. I upscale it and export it as mp4. When I open the exported mp4 in TVAI then a different frame rate is shown as Original. Sometimes 24,977 fps, sometimes 24,967, sometimes 24,962
This seems to happen only with MP4 as output. MKV works well.
You changed from
VirtualDubMod 1.5.4.1 (build 2178/release) (worked fine)
to
Lavf60.3.100 (creates these problems)?
Btw. I have these problems only with 25fps videos. 30fps seems to be fine.
Can you reach out to our support team at help@topazlabs.com with your logs, system profile and a sample video for testing?

The original input video Submit File to Dropbox
I submitted all requested files (log, system profile, inout video & output video) to your dropbox.
In this small sample video the frame rate changed from 25fps to 24,033 fps
According to LosslessCut:
Input file: 7240 ms & 181 frames
Output file: 7256 ms & 174 frames
The duration of audio & video is slightly different in the input and output file! (according to mediainfo).
I saw this only after I created the small snippet.
And as I wrote already - only the mp4 output is the problem. For a mkv-output TVAI shows still 25 fps. I believe now that TVAI is only writing or interpreting the mp4-header wrongly. Processing the “24.033”-mp4 to a mkv creates again a 25fps-video (according to TVAI).
I am having a similar issue. Upscaling with Proteus from 30fps source, exporting as ProRes HQ gives me a 29.97fps file. I am not using any frame interpolation.
