Since latest update, Photo AI is extremely slow to open and very clumsy with new set up

I use Photo AI on nearly every photo. The latest update is horrible. Instead of streamlining and making things faster and smoother, it’s done the opposite. It’s slow to open when I’m wanting to send photo from LR. The “suggestions” area is a pain. It doesn’t do nearly as good of job in sharpening and noise reduction as in previous version. I loved the previous version but not this one. I use MSI Vector GP7612UH

In the new version 3.1.2, the developers and product team changed Autopilot’s default behavior. It now suggests that by default, instead of applying.

To put the Autopilot back on so it applies the suggestions automatically, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Topaz Photo AI as a standalone application.
  2. Go to Preferences > Autopilot and enable Automatically apply filters to on and click Apply.

After you have done this, your application should operate as it previously did.
