I have found that the Sharpen standard v2 seems to be adding colours to the carpet.
Not sure why but the standard version is better for this image.
Can you upload the original image file? I’d like to try and reproduce the issue. It’s possible that it’s just oversharpening the pixels and the extra detail is causing it.
I’m not seeing a color shift when I process it on my end, at least with the JPG. It’s possible it’s removing darker noise so the finished result looks lighter. If you can find the TIF or DNG, it’d be great to test that as well.
Hi Tim,
I do have the original file in dng & Tiff formats but the community page does not allow those formats as uploads.
Files is also 114mb
Can I send via “wetransfer” to an email address ?
Kind Regards

Can you submit a support ticket at support.topazlabs.com using the beacon at the bottom right corner of the page and include the context of this thread? You’ll be able to securely send us image files and we’ll be able to help you troubleshoot much faster than we can here.
Tim ,
I tried to attach the original DNG file to the chat in https://support.topazlabs.com/.
But could not send because your limit is set at 10MB
I did convert it to TIFF to work with in Topaz because it comes in too dark.
When Topaz starts doing its thing it seems to add colour pigmentation to the carpet.

I have now aborted the TIFF workflow for now and tend to prefer using a JPG although I understand that you mentioned that a raw file should work better.
Hope it helps
Simon
Please submit a ticket anyway and we’ll send you a Dropbox link for you to securely upload large images.
