So I had these questions before this release…

  • Topaz recommends running it before any colors or changes to the photo. BUt then it becomes a TIF or JPG which limits the editing that can be done vs RAW (CR2). Then actual users say run it last. Which I do and this leads to…

  • When I go into from LightRoom, I see the changs in Sharpen, but when I “apply” the changes they don’t seem to carry back to lightroom. If I do it externally I do see a difference.

This does happen at times in LR even from PS. The thumbnail is not updated and sometimes the image itself takes time to refresh. A simple workaround is to go into develop mode on the TIF and just fiddle with any setting like shadows/highlights etc and LR will update it.
