Shadow in image when opening in Lightroom

[Please describe your issue here. Try to include logs (Help → Logging) and add screenshots if necessary.]

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1 Export image to Topaz AI 1.4.3
  2. Step 2 Do severe cropping. Image is CR3.
  3. Step 3 Export back to Lightroom version 12.4.

I’m using an iMac Retina 5K, 27 inch, 2020 model with Ventura 13.4.1.

It looks like you had masks on the image that were rotated during processing. Please remove the masks and then reapply them to the image.

Could you send me the original CR3 file with the XMP so I can try to reproduce this mask issue? If I have that information we can look into a fix.

You can securely submit your image(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.
Dropbox File Request

Hello and thank you for your response. I uploaded a photo to your Dropbox account. I grabbed a photo in Lightroom, applied some masks and minor basic adjustments. I then exported the photo to Topaz Photo AI where I applied a great deal of cropping (I use this feature a lot and am very impressed with it.) I also did a bit of sharpening and noise reduction. Then I sent the picture back to Lightroom. I uploaded the result to your Dropbox account for you to look at.

I’ve also sent a couple of other photos from Lightroom to Photo AI that did not have any masks applied to them. They came back to Lightroom without any distortions; in other words they came back looking fine.

Can you send me the original CR3 file and XMP file? I would like to get the original to reproduce the issue.

Without a reproduction we cannot fix this.
