Setting Custom scale

Gigapixel AI 7.4.3 as plugin to Photoshop 25.12

In earlier versions of Gigapixel AI I’ve been able to set custom scaling factors 1.2 and 1.5, this has worked perfect.

Now gigapixel “Scale factor”-field do not accept . so I can’t set 1.2 as scale factor, although I have selected Custom.

The field accept , but if I write 1,2 ( this is how I would wright it in Swedish ) it is truncated to 1

So no possibility to write 1.2 ………

Using laptop with Swedish keyboard.

I’m also having issues with Photoshop after up-scaling, Photoshop will crash when receiving and opening the file.

Hi @bow_string ,

It seems the issue with the scaling factor is related to how commas are interpreted as decimal points on non-English keyboards. We’re aware that when using a comma (,) instead of a period (.), values like “1,2” are being truncated to “1.” Although using a period (.) works as a temporary fix, we recognize this is a localization issue, and we are working on addressing it in a future update.

As for the Photoshop crash after upscaling, this can sometimes happen if the layer being sent to the Gigapixel plugin extends outside of Photoshop’s canvas bounds. To avoid this, you can ensure the layer is contained within the canvas or try flattening the image before sending it to Gigapixel, which should help prevent the crash.

Please let us know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance!
