I have lately come to realize that the only way for me to do a proper upscale of any videos is using Scene Detection, otherwise the video tends to create a weird fade out and in overlapping effect.
However, everytime I try to use Scene Detection, I find I am getting the red Retry button to fix the problematic scenes, and it’s happening more often now with the current version of Topaz Video, so much so that a one hour video that would normally be done in a short period of time is now taking me hours and hours on end to complete. Also, the software always has the habit of crashing now more than once during each upscale?
