Photo AI 3.3.1

Samsung RAW (.dng) images created with the “Expert RAW” setting cannot be opened.
Error msg “Image is not supported”
Other .dng images work properly

What camera model are you creating these RAW files with?

I don’t want to search the Internet, but probably this RAW is encoded using the new JPEG XL codec, which unfortunately Topaz has not yet added to its products.

Would you mind sending in some more information to get a better understanding of the problem you are having with this particular type of image? Please send the following information:

  1. The original image file.
  2. The processed image.
  3. A screenshot or description of the settings panel so I can see what adjustments were turned on.

I will, but there are no adjustments or settings. The file simply cannot be opened.

Thanks for sending in that file. I can confirm that this camera model is not currently supported in Photo AI currently. I have forwarded this information to the development team for further investigation to possibly support it in the future.

We use a software to read camera RAW files which needs to be updated with new camera models as they come out. Once LibRaw has support for this file we will also add it.
