I was looking through old external hard drives a while ago and stumbled upon a folder with close to 3000 1080p 16:9 pictures of various themes that i most likely got from the good old DC++ days of internet sharing. It’s got landscapes, animation, superheroes, pc games, space, cars, pretty much every kind of theme. It does not contain any pictures of lightly dressed women or the likes. All of them are child friendly.
I’ve upscaled all of them to 4k with both GPAi and PAi in two separate folders using auto upscaling model x2 + auto parameters for the upscaling models with no other filters/models. I personally prefer the PAi ones. It managed to analyze and produce slightly better output. Both are really good though.
If it’s against community rules, I’d be happy to share one of them. However, it will have to be in some 6-7 7zip folders as the total folder size is around 7GB x2. I’ll just share the PAi one at 7GB since the difference is barely noticeable, or i can share the original 1080p folder which is less than 2GB.
If it’s not against any guidelines, and if there is any interest i can see if i can upload the already upscaled folder, otherwise i’ll upload the smaller 1080p folder.
I do not have any idea who the creators of the artwork is, as i have no idea when i obtained it. But it’s some 10+ years ago. Some pictures have artist tags on them.
I love playing around with various pictures in gigapixel just to see what whacky results i can get and having a large number of random pictures makes it all the more fun.
I’ll ink some interesting ones below. None of them have had any text in the description box for the redefine mode.
Original 1:

Original 2:
Redefine 2 C6:T5:
Original 3 (did some color tweaking beforehand as it to darken and increase contrast as i redefine has a tendency to increase brightness a lot and in turn produce waaaay more texture):
Redefined 3:
Just a few redefined rest of the pictures:
