[RESOLVED WITH LOG OUT/LOG IN] - Photo AI Crashes on start up

I have a Mac running Sequoia 15.2. I have downloaded and installed 3.4.3

The software crashes immediatly on opening, either if I open the software from the launchpad or if I try to load an image direct.

No chance of a log, software crashed immediately.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1
  2. Step 2
  3. Step 3

I am having the same issue on a windows machine. I have downloaded 3.4.3, 2 times on 2 different computers with the same result. It crashes immediately. When I try to use it in photoshop it gives me an “error: plugin has crashed”.

I am a brand new user, as in I just downloaded yesterday. I was able to process a handful of images, but suddenly running into the same problem. The app will startup and give the tutorials screen, but will crash if I try to load an image. I have restarted my computer, redownloaded the software, and tried a handful of different images, to the same avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I needed to process through a few more images for a project that is under a deadline…

-edit to add, I also just tried using Photo AI through the Photoshop filters panel, and had the same error as the above user. I am using a Mac, so this is an issue that is happening on both platforms. :frowning:

This is two days ago, isn’t Topaz responding. I have the same issue, seems like they released a defect version of the software…

I have received no response.

Topaz?

I’m facing this exact issue. Photo AI 3.4.3 crashes immediately whenever I load an image of any sort to start an edit. I even tried deleting and re-installing Photo AI but the problem persists.

I’m on a 2021 MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, 16 GB RAM running macOS Sequoia 15.2.

So, I originated this topic. I havent heard from Topaz.

However yesterday I tried Photo AI again and found I had been logged out at Topaz.

I logged in again, and everything works fine.

Schoolboy error, or did something change?

Anyway all good.
