This same problem started happening for me immediately after I downloaded and installed the latest Topaz Photo AI update a couple of days ago. Has anyone received advice or a solution from the customer support team, or figured out a fix on their own??

Topaz AI does not return image to Photos. Plugin indicates it should.

I’ve just updated TOPAZ on my MacBook Air. I can no longer import photos from Apple photo editing suite using the three dots at the top of the page. I get this message… The application “Topaz Photo AI” cannot open the specified document or URL.

I can drag and drop and then edit. But then I can no longer save to Apple photos. I get two error messages

DNG output is only supported from RAW files. Any non-RAW files will be saved to TIFF instead
2.Error: Cannot open output file.

Can someone help?

I can’t get my Topaz to work on my photos file. But will work if I post the photo to the Mac screen it works ok. Only happened when I did todays program update.

I get the exact same error since 3.3.2. What a monumental pain. I have about 200 images from yesterday and today’s shoot that I now have to do outside of the Photos app. Ugh, first Apple HEIF files cannot be opened and now this. Making me rethink the annual update subscription fees.

I cannot open the photo for editing in Topaz using the three dots in my Mac. Also, when I edit a photo now, the export screen does not close allowing me to “save changes” in photos like in the past. The changes are not saved.

Topaz Photo AI [v3.3.2] on Mac 14.6.1
This started occurring after I upgraded to Photo AI 3.3.2
While editing photo in Photos 9.0, selecting Edit in Topaz Photo AI from the (…) menu results in message:

The application “Topaz Photo AI.app” cannot open the specified document or URL.

I having the same problem with Photos, using Photo AI 3.3.2 on my Mac Studio. I get the same message The application “Topaz Photo AI.app” cannot open the specified document or URL.
