I am having the same problem. Win 10 Pro, Intel Core i7 9700 4.9 GHZ, 64 G 3000MHZ RAM, NVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB. Uninstalled and reinstalled Photo AI. Same issue persists.
Change the setting preferences to what?
Uninstalled 2.3.1 and installed 2.3.0 ā¦works for me!
No. I reinstalled v 2.3.0 and it works fine.
You asked about v2.3.1

Our developers are currently working on this issue, and will resolve it as quickly as possible.
You can choose one of these two workarounds to resolve this issue:
- Disable the Autopilot in the appās Preferences> Autopilot menu
- Revert back to Topaz Photo AI v2.3.0 using the following download link: Topaz Photo AI | v 2.3.0 | Windows Installer
Let me know how that goes for you and we will make sure to reach back out to you to let you know when this is resolved.
topaz photo ai 2.3 freezes at the face detect stage in auto ai. If I go into preferences and disable face detect from the auto ai selections then the module behaves properly. Otherwise I could wait more than ten minutes and the blue arrows are still going round and round. I tried different options for processing, auto, cpu, and video card but they made no difference. This is in Window 10. I have not tried it on the Windows 11 boot drive as I do not have the most current version of Photo Ai installed there and do not want to risk the update since it does not work in Windows 10.

Face detection is not working. It is stuck loading, but nothing happens. My year of updates ends today or tomorrow. Will I be able to have a fixed version? Or even the option to use an older version?

Reverting back to last stable version (2.3.0) worked. Look forward to the fix for 2.3.1. Thanks.
Hi, Iām having the same problems with getting stuck on face recognition, Version 2.3.1. Iāve reverted back to 230 and have no problems. Iām about to Dropbox my system info as advised and hope it may be helpful.
