Resolution error on any upscaling size

Hi,
I’m trying to upscale an AI generated .mp4 video (544 x 720 pixels) to 2x upscale (selected codec H265 just in case) when trying to render sample frames (7 frames) I shows: Resolution Error.
This happens with any video and any upscale sizing and with any model.
My system is windows 11 (24H2) Ryzen 9 5900X , 63 GB ram, Geforce RTX 3070 (driver version 560.94)

I now have the resolution error on both an Intel 14700/AMD 7800XT and a Ryzen 3900X/NVIDIA 970. Just started a week or so ago - cannot get either to get past the resolution error - different file types or settings. MOV MP4 AVI nothing works.

Drivers are all up to date

Hmm driver up to date, but it says this in the log “Driver does not support the required nvenc API version. Required: 13.0 Found: 12.2”

Yet both my very different systems experience the same issue - makes me think Windows update issue… see later post

Found same Problem here Upgraded to 6.2.2 and getting NVidia driver error

Did you made a clean nvidia driver install? Also try the “Game Ready” driver when you have none working state.

Good remarks - I downloaded the gaming drivers for both system GPUs and made sure Windows was set for best performance. My AMD 7800XT has turbo mode, so I enabled it.

Both systems now render. Of course the GTX 970 is a (dog) backup to my other system.

The logs you shared are pointing to the driver being out of date for the latest release.

Also, we don’t recommend the game drivers as they can be unstable when running heavy tasks. The Studio Drivers are preferred.
