I have turned off “hair” and “neck” in the recovery face, yet it still does it. How do I get it to recover the face without the hair or neck if I turn it off in preferences?
There is no option to turn it off on he recover face menu.

Hi.
I’m afraid you’re absolutely right there’s currently no way to disable Hair & Neck a hundred percent within Gigapixel could be Gigapixel needing a transition between the face and hair or a technical issue but, here’s hoping, Topaz will have a better solution in a future release.
Until then, either use Face Recovery in combination with the Recover V2 Model and set the Details Slider at low number to minimise the effect between the face and the hair or neck or alternatively, create two instances of the same image one with Face Recovery and without and then, composite the two together within Photoshop or any image editor.
I know it’s a workaround but, still better than nothing at all
Hello!
I was unable to reproduce the issue.
In my tests, toggling the preference to disable hair and neck produced different results from when it was enabled.
If you have more details to report about unexpected behavior, please share screen captures or results in a message to help@topazlabs.com, along with the steps taken to reproduce those results.
Thanks
I have those turned off yet in bulk export mode it still processes them as “on”
