Rendering extremely slow and all benchmarks less than 1 fps

I have a new HP laptop. Just installed Topaz Video AI v7.1.1. The rendering seems to be taking forever for even smallish files, and progressing at 1 fps.

Your system is below the minimum system requirements for Video AI and doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card. The integrated graphics on the CPU has 0.5GB of VRAM and Video AI requires at least 6GB of dedicated VRAM.

Do you know if it is possible to add a dedicated graphics card?

Not on a laptop without using something like an eGPU enclosure over a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 connection. (Rare on an AMD laptop.)
