I’m trying to render a Prores source to H265 without any enhancements. Renders fast, around 150fps, but when it hits 5% progress it freezes. Have tried it a handful of times and it happens every time.
Running version 5.5.0 on M1 Mac Studio.
Tried it with version 5.4 and it’s the same. However, I noticed the output file size continues to increase, which suggests it actually is rendering, but the render status isn’t updating.

Are you seeing the file finish processing? As in this is just a UI issue of not updating the progress bar correctly?

Correct. Rendered two 90 minute videos this way (with render status stuck at 5%). Renders eventually completed but the audio sync was out. Audio had been set to copu.
The same is happening with Version 6. Here are the logs.
