i hope in the future , Topaz Video AI will have capability to be a render farm.
So we will have many computers as a scale-out upgrade, not just a single computer with a scale-up upgrade.
The goal is to make export process done much faster.
And we can utilize many 5-up-to-10 years old computers that not use anymore because we already buy new computers.
I like this idea.
Sadly I don’t see it being something Topaz has time for.
I have some ideas and could probably figure out a script that does most of it. But it needs to split the video by scenes, since several of the TVAI models need sequential frame information.
My thoughts are: Split the video into image sequences by scene. Pass those to the farm computers in some sort of task queue. Once they’re all done, compile the images back into a movie.
Of course if Topaz did make it, they could probably do a better job. There’s also the need to do work-arounds for AXV2 on older computers.
