You’ve somewhat achieved a look that I’d dubbed the “Double Exposed Trees” look. Eon’s ago I tried to photograph some mid field trees that were very dense with an old range finder & I could never get the images to line up to know if I was in focus. Turns out on many I wasn’t Kinda like a hall of mirrors or being right between two. Tried again later with a 35mm TTL and had the same eerie issue. I finally just chalked it up to haunted forest & Evil Spirits. Ya learn that a bit of that’s to be expected in some parts of Oregon anyway.
