Recovery BETA is not working

I have an older INTEL based iMAC. The new “RECOVERY BETA” feature doesn’t work. The process hangs regardless of the size of image that I try to use.

The recovery model is VERY resource intensive at this point and we recommend users have at least 6gb of dedicated VRAM on the machine if using Recovery Mode.

Could you share your full system report so I may investigate the cause of your conflict?

Justin,

Please see the attached system report.

I see in your system profile that your Radeon R9 has only 2gb of available VRAM and we do recommended at least 6gb of available VRAM when using our Recovery Model.

Although you may find some images process, we can’t guarantee success when using hardware below our minimum recommended requirements.

WH MacBook Pro.spx (7.4 MB)
Hi, I’m having the same problem with a MacBook Pro running an M1 Max with 32GB of RAM (SPX attached). I’ve deleted and reinstalled Gigapixel (7.4.1) and it still hangs not only when trying to use the Recovery model but even when trying just to preview a section of an image with it. What am I missing?

Thanks,
Will

(This has been the case for several months, btw, going back to I believe 7.0, but certainly with 7.3, which I was trying to use back in June to no avail.)

Would you mind sharing the image you last ran through our Recovery Beta model? I’d like to test this conflict locally to better understand why your machine is failing to process.

You can securely submit one or two images to our Dropbox. Please let me know if you send something.
