Ever since I updated, and every time I open this via LR, I have to redownload models making it very slow. It is very frustrating. I use windows and LR. Not sure if this is a bug or something else. Thaniks

I’ve reviewed the information about your machine, and unfortunately, the dxdiag file confirms that your machine does not meet our Minimum System Requirements. I have included a link to our Topaz Labs Documentation page for your review:

Your machine’s GPU only has about 1GB of VRAM while our requirement is 6GB.
We do have Topaz Photo AI v3.0.4 and v2.4.2, which may give you a more stable application for this machine. You can use the following links to download these installers for your review:

The newer interface that all v3 have, but v3.0.4 does not have the new Autopilot updates.

It can sometimes work on underpowered machines; however, it will be slower than v2.4.2

Important: Make sure you turn off your firewall, antivirus, and VPN (you can turn them back on once the installation process is done)
Let us know how that goes or if you have any issues reverting to the previous versions. If you have access to another computer, we can check its compatibility.
