Raw files (dng) enlarge without the xmp data intact

Gigapixel ver 7.4.3
Ps 25.12.0
Br 14.1.2.300

When I Gigapixel enlarge raw files (dng) they lose all the process edits I previously made in Adobe Camera Raw.
The xmp data is embedded in the DNG (Camera Raw preferences)
I usually just drag the file, a thumbnail in Bridge, onto the Gigapixel icon & it launches

Can anyone tell me how to maintain the camera raw adjustments I’ve made ?
Thank you

I’d be surprised if you can (but I could be wrong). As much as I like nondestructive raw editors, they make life tough when trying to export raws + edits to other company’s software. LR (and ACR), C1, and DXO, for instance, all store their edits differently, so any other-party software that read a unmodified dng would also have to correctly parse the sidecar files. And if these include baking in white balance, etc., you don’t really have a raw file anymore.

Things like this, denoising dark areas, and losing dynamic range importing dngs into TPAI have me really reconsidering the usefulness of working on dngs with TPAI. I’m using C1 for my main editor/organizer, and I’m going to have to look at either running TPAI on tiffs or max-quality jpegs as processing intermediaries between my .arw’s and final .jpg’s.

Thanks David. I look fwd to reading what others say too. If I can’t maintain my image as per raw edits then I don’t see the point of being able to enlarge raw files. I may as well first save a tif and then do the gigapixel enlargement
