I have 200 .ARW images loaded into Topaz Photo, and I wish to apply ONLY RAW DENOISE to all of them and export them in a single step. (They will be stacked in other software, then the composite loaded back into Topaz for sharpening.). I’m not finding a way to do this… “Select all” and “Apply settings to selected images” does not produce the expected result.
Hello,
The development team has been flagged and we can reach out once a fix found
Workarounds:
-
Revert to Topaz Photo v1.4.1 - Windows : Download
-
or use Auto-Pilot and turn off in Preferences the Sharpen, Face detection and Upscale. This will allow only RAW denoise to be applied.
Let us know how it goes!
Your second suggestion seems to be working… however the UI is extremely confusing in this point, as the first image (for which a preview was created) is shown with “topaz-rawdenoise.dng” in the Export list, while all the others show “topaz-[ai-filters]” in the file name, which then switches back and forth during the export process. I’m sure there is a reason for this, but it gives every appearance that the first image exported will be treated differently from the others.

Hello Claus,
The [ai-filters] is the expected behavior with Auto-Pilot. It will change to correct naming once the file analaysed. You can also turn off the toggle to apply filter names too to the filename, in the Export window.
Would it be surprising if Topaz Photo v1.5.1 showed the faint structure of the sensor with default parameters (All, Normal, 45, 0)?
It renders the photo unusable.
Let me know if you want to see the photo. Sony A9iii global shutter sensor.

Yes you can add the file
