Processing error with segments from long source files in Starlight Prestige

I found a bug in Starlight Prestige regarding how it handles segments from long source videos. The error occurs when I try to process a segment taken from the middle of a 1-hour video file.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load a long video file (e.g., 60 minutes long).

  2. Select a segment from the middle

  3. Start processing this segment.

  4. Result: The process fails with an error.

Crucial Observation:

  • The workaround: If I manually split the original 1-hour video into six separate 10-minute files using external software, Starlight Prestige processes each of those 10-minute files perfectly.

  • The bug: The issue only appears when Starlight Prestige tries to extract/process a segment from the original long file. It seems the software fails to correctly seek or index frames when they are deep inside a large container.

System Specs:

  • Version: Topaz Video 1.4

  • OS: Windows 10

  • Source video duration: 60 minutes

  • Segment length: ~10 minutes

Can you update to the new 1.5.0 release and let me know if you still run into this issue? The team has been sorting through several issues with the model and trying to get them resolved.
