Processing Error on New vs. Old Version

I’m trying to reprocess a video. This same input file processed correctly on a prior version; It’s been about 3 months since the last successful attempt.

Version 5.2.1 aborts processing with a indeterminate error: I don’t understand your log file system.

I’d attache the log file zip, bet there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that.

How can I send you the log zip?

Make sure that logging is enabled

Help > Logging > Logging

Then, to gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

I am seeing out of memory errors and the AI processor seems to be resetting back to ‘auto’ rather than staying on the GPU, which is a known bug in the 5.2.1 release.

I’d recommend downloading the beta version to resolve the bug and changing the following settings:

​File > Preferences > Processing

  • Set the AI Processor to the AMD Radeon PRO W6600
  • Set the max memory usage at 75%
  • Set max processes to 1
  • Save the settings and exit the panel

Try running the clip back through and if you experience an issue please send me the updated logs for review.
