I processed an image using the preserve text function and after previewing, the areas marked stayed highlighted and there was no difference in the preview. Loading another image, the text brush was still ‘on’ so I couldn’t drag the image, nor did the preview work again. The issue of no preview only happens after preserving text. A restart clears the problem.
Thanks for reaching out. How often does this happen for you?
I tried to reproduce the issue but was not able to after 3 attempts.
Every time on my i7-8700K, RTX 2080 Ti. In the image I hope to attach, you can see that the text marker is still there on the subsequent image that I loaded,
I did try it on my older AMD machine, with a GTX 1070 and while it wasn’t consistent, it did happen from time to time. Both machines are running Win11.
Does this affect the output?
No. You just have no idea what it will look like until you view it.
It’s not a critical issue and I just have to close and reopen the program, after using the preserve text. It’s just a small bug, even if it is an irritating one.
I’ll keep an eye out for this issue. A reproduction on one of our devices is necessary to figure out the cause so I’d certainly like to fix a bug like this but need detail on how to reproduce on my computer.
If you have the time to make a screen recording that would help!
I was about to screen record the problem, but saw a new update was waiting. I installed that and it has fixed the problem. Sorted.
Cheers.
