Preset selects incorrect AI model when interlaced (on Mac)

I have a preset using Iris for interlaced video. However, whenever I select this preset, the AI model incorrectly changes to Dione DV. For presets for progressive video, the AI model is always correct.

Happens in versions 5.2.3, 5.3.0 and 5.3.1

Can you provide a log where you apply the preset and have it swap for the team to review?

Firstly, I’d like to make a correction - it doesn’t happen in version 5.2.3, having just checked on my old Intel MacBook Pro.

I’m generally very reluctant to send log files, even directly to Topaz, for privacy reasons. But especially in this case because the problem is so easy to reproduce. Apparently no-one at Topaz has tried.

I can also confirm this bug is in the 5.3.1 Windows version too, having just installed it for the first time out of curiosity.

I strongly believe requesting log files should be a last resort, only if Topaz are unable to reproduce the problem or if excessive resources / time is required to do so. In this case it only takes a minute or two.

Hi Andy, I have run several tests and have been able to replicate the issue and sent my logs to the dev team for review. I also sent them a screen recording of the situation so that they could follow what settings I tried and tested.
