Created a custom offset with Adjust Light and Balance Color. Processed a JPEG image in photoshop, and tried to launch Photo AI as a plugin, and then tried to apply this custom set, and was met with this error “The preset contained an enhancement which cannot be used on RAW images in this mode”.
Would you mind sending in some more information to get a better understanding of the problem you are having with this particular type of image? Please send the following information:

A screenshot or description of the settings panel so I can see what adjustments were turned on.

If you can take a screen recording of this behavior so I can see exactly what is happening, it will be helpful to ensure that we can replicate the workflow you are using to investigate.
I have done some further testing and confirmed that it’s an issue ONLY when Topaz Photo AI is launched from within Photoshop as a filter, it does not repro when the JPEG file is loaded directly into Photo AI. Below is a picture of the custom preset that I created, it’s just a combination of adjust lighting and balance color. (please see screenshot below) As for the input file, any JPEG file would do.
I am experiencing this same issue when editing TIFF/JPEG images sent to Photo AI (3.3.1) from Lightroom Classic. I can apply a color or lighting adjustment directly to the image, but not if the adjustment is included in a custom Preset.
