Why does the installer add a desktop shortcut.
Personally, I didn’t want the shortcut there so I removed it after the first install - but the installer puts it back every time. It’s not that it is difficult to remove it, but that it is so pointless, especially for us who use it as a Photoshop plugin and not standalone.

The installer lets you choose to install a shortcut or not. Unclick it there.
You may also wish to read the figurines for using the forum.
